These books are the surviving stock of Marcelo Ramos Motta’s publications of Thelemic books in English. He gave his life whilst striving to complete his publication of these books. Much stock has been stolen, but pristine copies are being hereby made available to those that act quickly. You will find that second-hand copies are being offered at ten times the price in some cases.

Volume One contains ten hardcover Numbers, and was described by its editor and principal author, Aleister Crowley, as an Encyclopedia of Initiation. Sub-titled “The Review of Scientific Illuminism,”

THE EQUINOX VOLUME FIVE has contributed significantly to the scientific investigation of comparative religious experience. Volume Five continues the tradition of uncompromising dedication to scientifically verifiable truth.

EQUINOX V 1 The Commentaries of AL US$175.00

This Number of The Equinox V ­­– The Commentaries of AL, was published by a small group of A∴ A∴ Neophytes and O.T.O. Members under the Authority of William Robert Barden, sole surviving Director of the Society O.T.O. at the time of Marcelo Motta’s death. It was designed to complete The Equinox, Volume Five according to the exact instructions of Mr. Motta. This Number has the same format, binding and size as the earlier Numbers produced by Marcelo Motta and is described below. The Index is completely different from the flimsy one done by Wasserman and included in the Weiser edition (1975 e.v.).

The Commentaries of AL  includes the initiated commentaries to Liber AL vel Legis: The Book the Law by Aleister Crowley and Marcelo Motta, as well as publications in Classes B and D that bear upon Chapters or Verses of Liber AL vel Legis, as well as a facsimile of the original Manuscript of Liber AL vel Legis and an extensive Index.

Gold-stamped on purple cloth.. Perfect binding, with 311 pages, plus colour reproductions of The Stele of Revealing, a facsimile of the holograph of The Book of the Law, and an extensive cross-referenced Index.

This Number of The Equinox V ­­– Satan and Christ, was published by Marcelo Motta with some help from a small group of A∴ A∴ Neophytes and O.T.O. Members. It was designed to complete The Equinox, Volume Five The regular edition of this Number has the same format, binding and size as the other Numbers produced by Marcelo Motta and is described below.  (1979 e.v.).

This Number includes the initiated commentaries to Liber LXV, Liber Cordis Cinti Serpenti by Aleister Crowley and Marcelo Motta; Liber XXCCCI – A Peronal Research by Marcelo Motta;

Deluxe edition: Gold-stamped on blue and gold kilvar. Perfect binding, with xxx pages.

EQUINOX V 3, The Chinese Texts of Magick and Mysticism, US$175.00

The Chinese Texts of Magick and Mysticism includes Aleister Crowley’s initiated translations of the Chinese Classics, the Dao de Jing, the Jin Gan Jing, and the Yi Jing. Includes commentaries by Marcelo Motta.

Bound in quality jade-green kivar, with a jade-green-on-white dust-jacket, gold-stamped. Over 500 pages, mostly in 14 pt roman, italic, bold and round Baskerville and Garamond on acid-free smythe-sewn paper. Jade green fly-leaves. One thousand copies. First edition. Very few remain.

Sex and Religion includes the Bagh-i-Muattar, The Field Theory of Sex, The Paris Working, A.C.’s Magickal Diaries for 1906-07 e.v.and much more that is essential reading for Thelemic Aspirants.

Over 700 pages in 14 and 12 pt roman, italic, bold and round Baskerville and Garamond on quality acid-free smythe-sewn paper. Bound in shot brown and gold quality kivar, silver stamped. Red on white dustjacket. Golden sand fly-leaves.
