THE JOURNAL OF THELEMIC SCHOLARSHIP
The Official Organ of the Parzival XI° O.T.O. Foundation.
Volume One Number 1
Capricorn Solstice, Anno LXXXIX (1992 e.v.), Canberra, Australia
The main feature of this issue is “The Revival of Magick,” written by Aleister Crowley as a four-part serial article in The International during August through November 1917 e.v.
Some students may recognize themes in this work that he was to later amplify and expound upon in Magick in Theory and Practice.
This issue of the Journal contains an exposition on “The Thelemic Calendar,” an examination of the conventions for Thelemic dating that have developed over the past nine decades. (Reference charts to assist the reader are included with the article). Also included is “A Functional Outline for the Parzival XI° O.T.O. Foundation Research Council.” This article is intended to sketch the basic objectives and methods of the Research Council.
